Water bosses give pupils top environmental marks

Redditch Editorial 6th Aug, 2023

TOP MARKS have been given to pupils in Warwickshire who have pledged to help to look after the environment.

Severn Trent’s Education Team visited primary and secondary schools across the county spreading the message about how to save water and what not to flush down the toilet.

Maxine Smith, senior education officer at Severn Trent, said: “This year has been hugely successful for the education team with an amazing number of young people engaged and committing to making a change in their daily habits to help the environment.

“The sessions and the pledges that they make help them to think about the work that Severn Trent does and how their actions can go a long way in impacting the environment.”
