Therapy dog Harry Potter set to cast a spell on MPs

Redditch Editorial 22nd May, 2019 Updated: 23rd May, 2019

A SPELLBINDING dog called Harry Potter is set to work his magic on MPs.

The therapy dog can regularly be seen on the children’s wards at Warwick and Solihull Hospitals where he goes to put a smile on patients’ faces.

The good-tempered Chihuahua and owner Jane Neary, from Hatton, also visit nearby care homes, schools, hospices, prisons and do one off stress busting days and part of their work with charity Therapy Dogs.

The tiny four-year-old dog is one of 13 to be invited along with his owner to visit Parliament and help de-stress MPs this week. Another of the dogs attending is a huge Great Dane.

Jane told the Observer: “Therapy dogs are all doing the same job of being non judgemental and giving unconditional love to those who need it.

“Harry is so amazing, children on the wards love seeing him and he has the perfect temperament.”
