RESIDENTS having a staycation this weekend are being urged to enjoy a walk around Worcestershire’s beautiful countryside, writes Ryan Smith.
The council are promoting 38 scenic routes people to take across Worcestershire, including the Abberley Circular walk and the Bewdley River and Rail Walk.
It comes as part of the councils investment into National Walking Month throughout May.
Coun Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Highways said: “We’re lucky to live in a county with such wonderful views county with such wonderful views and diverse countryside. Walking is a great way to enjoy this and our walking routes are great for all abilities.”
