Teenager seriously injured after phone robbery stabbing in Smith's Wood, Solihull

AN 18-YEAR-OLD stabbed following an alleged phone robbery at a park area in Smith’s Wood, Solihull, suffered potentially serious injuries.

The incident occurred between Chester Road and Windward Way just before 2.30pm yesterday (Tuesday January 21).

West Midlands Ambulance attended the scene. The teenager was taken to hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.




In a statement police said: “Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in a park area following a phone robbery between Chester Road and Windward Way, in Smith’s Wood just before 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.

“He was been taken to hospital with serious injuries and a 16-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were arrested in connection with the attack.”
