THE BRADBY Club will kick off its centenary year fund-raising with two events.
The youth club will host its annual quiz at Rugby School Sports Café on Friday February 15 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £14 per person, including a two-course dinner. Email email@example.com for more information and tickets.
The club will also receive 10 per cent of ticket sales for Rugby Operatic Society’s production of Chess at Avon Valley School from February 12 to 16 – if booked via the Bradby Club. Visit www.rugbyoperaticsociety.co.uk/wp for more details. Book tickets via show director Rex Pogson at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01788 813333.
The club is half way through a two-year 100th anniversary celebration, comprising a programme of events aiming to build a fund to sustain crucial youth-worker posts, improve the clubhouse kitchen, and improve the ball-court to open up new opportunities for sport.
The club has set a fundraising target of £200,000 – £1,000 for each year of its history, and £1,000 for each year of the next 100.
The club runs services and activities to support young people into adulthood, including youth club sessions, a substance misuse service, a safer relationships and sexual health service, support for young carers and young parents, a boxing academy and gym facilities.
