Motorcyclist killed in crash at Charlecote named

A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a crash at Charlecote has been named.

Edward Booker, from Ettington, was pronounced dead at the scene, after his red Suzuki 600cc hit a wall near Charlecote Park around 4.45pm on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old’s family is being supported by specially trained officers

Police want to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the bike being ridden in the area prior to the crash on the B4086.




They are also keen for anyone who has dashcam footage to come forward.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident number 317 of 12 February.


A West Midlands Ambulance spokeswoman said: “One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
