Redditch Eco Warriors pass flag test with flying colours

REDDITCH students have been given an award for making their school and eco-friendly place.
Matchborough first School have been given the Eco-Flag honour after their pupils, The Eco Warriors, improved the school grounds, reduced waste and energy consumption and made sure everyone on site recycles properly.
Assistant headteacher Jenni Halion said: “All children, teachers and even parents were involved to ensure the school passed the assessment and received the flag, which is now proudly displayed outside the front of the school.”
