MYTON Hospice has a refreshing new way of raising money.
A new drinks van will be used at events and other fund-raising opportunities – from weddings to festivals.
And the van – which will serve hot and cold drinks and snacks – has so far proved a hit, with a number of bookings for next year.
Hospice spokesman David Pratt said: “Our team researched how financially viable catering vans are, and sought advice from other charities which have pursued similar ventures.
“We are thrilled about our new drinks van. We have had really positive feedback about the drinks van and us taking this opportunity to expand our income generation channels.”
