ALCESTER sat out the final round of fixtures in their 11-team Midlands Four West (South) division, safe in the knowledge their status in the league was secure after excellent successive wins to end the campaign.
Alcester, who finished eighth, played an inter-club game before their annual awards evening at the clubhouse, where the following awards were presented:
1st XV Players’ Player – Phil Birks; Coaches’ Player – Ben Hope; Most Improved Player – George Green; Young Player – Alex Chiles; Impact Player – Jamie Clarke; 2nd XV Players’ Player – Sam Fell; 2nd XV Most Improved Player – Mike Nason; Young Player – Joel Barker; Colts Players’ Player – Jamie Harland; Coaches’ Player – Stevie Walmsley; Colts Most Improved Player – Joel Barker.
Alcester host South Warwickshire’s Return to Rugby tournament on Saturday, which will be a charity event aimed at 2nd XV/3rd XV players in aid of Help for Heroes.
